Logging in for the 1st time

The first step to setting up consumr.ai for a user is during the first login.

Introduction

Login process is the first step to getting into any system. However, onboarding on to a system is a one-time set up that needs to be performed and is critical to what you get access to. The way consumr.ai is built and acts as a layer on top of multiple media platforms like Google, Facebook, TikTok etc. The architecture of this platform is designed to ensure that we do not have access to 1st party data of the client hence staying completely compliant to data privacy laws around the world. Instead, we use platforms like Meta, TikTok and Snapchat to anonymize the PII and draw cohorts of the anonymized data, directly from the platform.

This however makes our onboarding a little complex as we will have to satisfy the handshake rules defined by each platform. In this document, we will lay down the process of signing in for the first time and then accepting permissions from the platforms and getting access to consumr.ai. The process may seem a little overwhelming, but we are doing this only to safeguard your data. Plus, it does not take more than a minute to complete this process.
